Festive Fun comes to Renfrew town this winter

22nd Nov 2021

Renfrew will be full of Christmas cheer this winter with festive characters making appearances on Saturday 4 December and Saturday 18 December 2021.

Cheeky elves, giant nutcrackers and Christmas candles will be among the characters visiting Renfrew town centre, spreading festive cheer to locals and visitors.

They’ll be handing out tokens that can be exchanged in local businesses for special offers or discounts, giving residents a chance to get a head start on their Christmas shopping with Renfrew traders.

Each character will have a QR code you can scan to find out where you can exchange your token or just look out for the stickers in participating shop windows.

You can join in the fun on Saturday 4 December and 18 December 2014 when Paisley FM 107.5 will also be ‘live’ from Renfrew as part of the Christmas cheer.

Pauline Allan, Events Manager, Renfrewshire Council says: “Supporting our local businesses has never been so important and this is a great opportunity to do just that – while taking advantage of the special offers and discounts that will be available. There are some real hidden gems in our communities, and I’m sure everyone will be able to find that special Christmas gift in our town centres this year.”

We are hoping you enjoy the great festive atmosphere with us from Paisley FM 107.5  – your local radio station for Renfrewshire live on both dates from Renfrew Town Hall from 12 noon to 4.00pm on both dates.

You can get Paisley FM on your radio at home and in the car on 107.5 FM; on your Smart-Speaker “Alexa, Play Paisley FM from TuneIn”; online on this website paisleyfm.co.uk and on the Paisley FM App, download for free from your app-store.
