Bowfield 10K charity run for St Vincent’s Hospice: Monday morning guest

The Bowfield Country Club & Hotel near Howwood is having its annual Charity Run on Sunday 30 June 2019 with proceeds to going to St Vincent’s Hospice, Howwood.

On Monday morning, 24 June on the Mike McLean morning show on Paisley FM 107.5 just after 11.00am, special guest Cara from the Bowfield Leisure team will be chatting to Mike about this year’s 10k race (or walk!) on how the Bowfield supports the important and caring work of the St Vincent’s Hospice.

Now into it’s 7th year and once again the Bowfield is looking for people to take part. The run is open to everyone alike and as a bonus, The Bowfield we’ll even be hosting a BBQ for afterwards!

Entry is just £10 plus a minimum of £10 sponsor money must be raised for St Vincent’s Hospice, Howwood.

The Walkers start at 10.00am while the Runners start at 11.00am on Sunday 30 June and all participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the selected race starts.

St. Vincent’s Hospice is a community resource for the people of Renfrewshire, providing specialist palliative care to those living with cancer and other life limiting illnesses.

The Hospice multi disciplinary team works in partnership with members of both the acute and primary care teams to provide skilled knowledge and support to patients and their families.

Care is promoted in a friendly and supportive atmosphere to patients, families and carers, both during and after the illness in times of bereavement.
