On Saturday 20 July 2019, Paisley FM’s Norman Ross and Chris Mitchell went to the Moon50 – Landing Party at Glasgow Science Centre at Pacific Quay on the River Clyde to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1969 Moon landing on 20 July 1969.

Norman and Chris, pictured left with Chewbcca at Moon50, went round the very special Moon50 event talking to many people with their experiences of remembering what it was like on 20 July 1969 for a human to walk on the moon for the very first time.

There was the very best space themed experiences, and people were transported back in time in an special retro Moon memories living room. People came dress up, and discovered how the Moon landings inspired everyone to think big, make peace and look after the planet Earth.
