Hello!, I’m Ross Bowie the Rock Show host and I joined the Paisley FM team earlier this year. I’ve lived here in Renfrewshire all my days, and even studied in UWS Paisley. I DJ at The Cathouse in Glasgow, where you can catch me every Thursday and Friday night and more likely in for a drink on weekends.
How did you get into broadcasting
My Dad works in broadcasting, so it’s been a running joke that one day I would to and now that joke has become reality. I also studied Sound Production and Music Technology, so getting into broadcasting felt like the next step.

Celebrity encounter
I’ve been lucky enough to DJ with a lot of bands that I love like Killswitch Engage, Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow and While She Sleeps to name a few. I also once met Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro at a job interview where he asked me to hold the door open for him, right as he dropped his guitar and pedal board onto the concrete floor; ouch!
